Plaza de la Revolución is one of Havana's most iconic and politically significant landmarks, serving as the heart of Cuba's revolutionary history and modern political life. This massive public square, covering over 72,000 square meters, has been the stage for countless historic speeches by Fidel Castro and continues to host major political rallies and national celebrations. The plaza is dominated by the towering José Martí Memorial, a 109-meter tall monument dedicated to Cuba's national hero and independence leader.
